During the last half of January we hosted a few gentlemen from Wheaton, Illinois. First to come was Dave, a long-time friend and supporter of Grace and Cesar's. He prepped and planned for later teams during the week he was here, helping us greatly as we lack the construction knowledge to guide such planning ourselves. A world traveler in addition to being a handy guy, I learned lots about the US and abroad: cowboy stories, childbirth, and the European debt crisis were just some of the topics.
Prepping wood for the staircase and wall panels.
Mark and Ray, who came down a year ago with the Wheaton team returned for another week, overlapping a few days with Dave. Since the staircase turned out so well last year, we asked them to put in another, and to help build wall panels for the second floor. We always enjoy their positivity and sense of humor, as well as the well-built products they create.

The last few screws!
Scotty was their biggest helper.
Though I didn't get to spend much time with our visitors, I enjoyed seeing their enthusiasm to serve. Thanks again Wheaton Bible for lending us such quality people, and for being part of another step in finishing our church building,
